The Ministry of the Spirit from 2 Corinthians 3

APPROVAL FOR GOD’S MINISTERS?

The Apostle Paul wrote in the 2nd Corinthians epistle if they needed to show them their qualifications again, and if they needed letters of recommendation or needed to be approved of them again.

Father God the ministers You approve and send to our lost loved ones, they are fit for this labor of love. May they be willing to go for You LORD.

A LETTER FROM CHRIST

The Corinthian church themselves were their letter, said the Apostle Paul, written on their hearts, known and read by everyone.

These Corinthians would show they were a letter from Christ, the result of the Apostle Paul’s ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

We pray, Living God, that You will lead our lost loved ones to the right ministers or lead these ministers to them, and plant them in a church where Your Spirit will write Your love letter on the tablets of their human hearts.

You have written the true script to make them new creatures in Christ. Remove from them the tablets of stone. May they be pricked in their heart in the fear of the Lord at the hearing of Your Word, repent, and start their life gloriously anew on a fresh page. Their testimony that they are changed by Your Spirit will be read by all.

COMPETENT MINISTERS OF THE SPIRIT

Father God, we are so thankful for SUCH confidence we have through Christ before You. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from

You who has made us competent as ministers of the new covenant--

not of the letter

but of the Spirit,

for the letter kills,

but the Spirit gives life.

LORD, forgive us when we have not trusted You and lost our confidence, depending on ourselves and failed. Holy Spirit take over and teach our lost loved ones and save them from the letter that kills. Breathe in them Your Spirit dear Jesus, have mercy on them and save them we pray.
The Greater Glory of the New Covenant

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

Thank You Lord for

the ministry of the Spirit

which is more glorious than the Old Testament ministry. No more is the New Testament ministry engraved on stone, as it was in the Old Testament. Though glorious as it was and transitory, it brought condemnation for we all sinned and came short of Your glory. But now the ministry of the New Testament has surpassing glory which lasts!

Our lost loved ones also have the opportunity to be made righteous in Jesus Christ the Lord.  May they not let the ministry of the Spirit pass them by; hold them LORD, minister to them and may they behold the loving face of the Savior Jesus and run to his outstretched arms.

WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS FREEDOM

Therefore, since we have such hope Father God, we are VERY bold. Not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away.

Oh God, sharpen the minds of our lost loved ones that they not be dull. Remove the veil that remains over their heart when the old covenant is read.

He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

-Luke 24:44

Dear Jesus only You can take the veil way from our lost loved ones. When this veil is taken away, they will turn to You Lord.

You Lord are the Spirit, and in You, there is freedom! Free our lost loved ones, save them from their sins Lord we pray.

Thank You Lord that

our faces are now unveiled

to contemplate Your glory,

and are being transformed into Your image

with ever increasing glory

which comes from You, Lord, who is the Spirit.

We pray the same for our lost loved ones. In Your name we pray, in Jesus name, Heavenly Father, amen.
