WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILATION, from 2 Corinthians 5

IF YOU'VE BEEN BLESSED BY THIS MINISTRY:

always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
-Ephesians 5:20

2.  "CLICK" AND VISIT THE GOOGLE ADS THAT INTEREST YOU.

EACH TIME YOU CLICK ON AN AD OF INTEREST FROM THESE BLOGS, YOU PUT A FEW PENNIES TO THIS MINISTRY WITHOUT A COST TO YOU.

THANK YOU. BLESSINGS!

GOD PLEDGED A DWELLING FOR US IN HEAVEN
For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.

For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life.

Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.

ALWAYS BE OF GOOD COURAGE
Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord--for we walk by faith, not by sight--we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

Heavenly Father, in our earthly bodies we groan and are burdened, but we are encouraged, LORD, that we are not stuck in a rut, but live with a purpose--Your purpose-- and look forward to our eternal dwelling in the heavens. Thank You for Your Spirit that You have given to live in us as a pledge of our glorious home in heaven.

May we not only be of good courage, but encourage others as well, especially our lost loved ones, that they too will inherit Your promise of an eternal home in the heavens bought by the blood sacrifice of Your beloved Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank You Father, in Jesus name.

OUR AMBITION
Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Father, we desire to be pleasing to You. May we be mindful that we will be recompensed for our deeds in the body, according to what each individual has done, whether good or bad. We want to do good, help us to pass the tests,
KNOWING THE FEAR OF THE LORD
Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God and hope that we are made manifest in others’ consciences.

Father, may we, Your church persuade our lost loved ones to choose the fear of the Lord. We hope to be made manifest in their consciences. Holy Spirit of God You are at work to convince them of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. May they choose life, we pray.
WE HAVE THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
Heavenly Father, we pray Your Spirit will always give your laborers you send to our lost loved ones an answer in our mouth. Convince our lost loved ones that Your words are the truth and those speaking them are of a sound mind.

We pray the that these laborers be controlled by the love of Christ, for we no longer live for ourselves but for Him who died and rose again on our behalf. The Lord Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and that includes our lost loved ones.

We pray our lost loved ones be saved and be a new creature in Christ, the old things passed away and all things become new. These things are from You, Father God, who reconciled us to Yourself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. Namely, that You were in Christ reconciling the world to Yourself, not counting their trespasses against them and have committed to us the word of reconciliation.

What responsibility LORD! We want to be faithful to this calling for Your purpose is to save the lost, and we are praying for our lost loved ones that in Christ You reconcile them to Yourself, not counting their trespasses against them, and that they too will be committed the word of reconciliation. They will no longer serve the devil, but serve You, praise God!

AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST
We are ambassadors for Christ, as though You, Father God, are making an appeal through us to reach the lost and our lost loved ones. Help us Father, with this appeal to beg our lost loved ones on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to You.

You made the Lord Jesus sin who knew no sin to be sin our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him, and we are praying this blessing for our lost loved ones also.

In Jesus name we pray and thank You, amen.

LET LIGHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, from 2 Corinthians 4

LET LIGHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS

SET GOD’S TRUTH PLAINLY

Therefore, LORD, through Your mercy we have this ministry You gave the Apostle Paul, and

we don’t lose heart.

LORD, give today’s church holy boldness to

renounce secret and shameful ways
not use deception
nor distort Your Word.

Send these laborers to our lost loved ones. We pray they and we all

set the truth plainly,

commending ourselves to everyone’s conscience

in Your sight.

By setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

THE GOSPEL DISPLAYS THE GLORY OF CHRIST

Father God, we pray you will unveil the gospel to our lost loved ones that they not perish.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his cunning, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. - 2 Corinthians 11:3

Father God, light the gospel before our lost loved ones! Turn on the lights LORD, we pray!

In servitude for Jesus’ sake, help all ministers not to preach themselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord .

For You God who said,

“LET LIGHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS,”

made Your light shine in our hearts

 to give us

the light of the knowledge of Your glory

displayed in the face of Christ.

Father God, in the name of the Lord Jesus, LET LIGHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS IN OUR LOST LOVED ONES. Father, make your light shine in their hearts to give them the light of the knowledge of Your glory displayed in the face of Christ.

We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that

this all surpassing power is from You, LORD, and not from us.

Your all surpassing power will save our lost ones! Thank You, LORD.

B U T N O T
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed

perplexed, but not in despair,

persecuted, but not abandoned,

struck down, but not destroyed

Thank You for the benefits of living in the Lord Jesus! You said, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but that You will deliver us from them all. We stand praying in the gap for our lost loved ones to whom You also sent Your beloved Son to save. We pray You extend Your grace to them also, that they not be crushed, nor be in despair, nor be abandoned, nor destroyed. We are thanking You for Your deliverance each time LORD!

THE LIFE OF JESUS REVEALED IN OUR BODY
We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus,

so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake,

so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.

So then, death is at work in us,

but life is at work in you
.

LORD, we remember Your words, it is more blessed to give than to receive, because when we give, we receive from You. You also said, the best of friends give their life for friends. We suffer for Jesus’ sake so that those that we are ministering to will have life at work in them, Your church is at work, it is Your labor of love to save the lost. Your Spirit in us is Life. Life is at work in our lost loved ones because of the grace You freely give to us all. We pray our lost loved ones will contemplate Your glory in the glorious face of Your Son, the Lord Jesus, that they be transformed in Your image. Thank You, LORD, in Jesus name.
IT IS WRITTEN
“I believed; therefore I have spoken.”
LORD, we pray Your Spirit will prompt us to speak words of life with faith over our lost loved ones. With You all things are possible. We have prayed to You God of our salvation, and we believe our lost loved ones will come back to their own border from wherever they’ve been driven; those that have erred in spirit will come to understanding, they will all be taught of You LORD, and great shall be their peace. They will not die, but live to tell of the glories of the Lord. We thank You for You are good and Your mercy and love endures forever. Your compassions are new every morning and great is Your faithfulness. Man has his plans, but Yours will prevail, and they are plans of peace to bless. This is the day You have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You Father in Jesus name.

Father God, thank You for this same spirit of faith; we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the One who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with our lost loved ones that You will definitely save to Yourself. All this is for everyone’s benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may also reach our lost loved ones and may cause thanksgiving to overflow of Your glory, LORD God!

THEREFORE, WE DO NOT LOSE HEART
Therefore we do not lose heart,

though outwardly we are wasting away,

yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles

are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
So we fix our eyes

not on what is seen,

but on what is unseen,

since what is seen is temporary,

but what is unseen is eternal.

Praise God! In Jesus name, amen.

The Ministry of the Spirit from 2 Corinthians 3

APPROVAL FOR GOD’S MINISTERS?

The Apostle Paul wrote in the 2nd Corinthians epistle if they needed to show them their qualifications again, and if they needed letters of recommendation or needed to be approved of them again.

Father God the ministers You approve and send to our lost loved ones, they are fit for this labor of love. May they be willing to go for You LORD.

A LETTER FROM CHRIST

The Corinthian church themselves were their letter, said the Apostle Paul, written on their hearts, known and read by everyone.

These Corinthians would show they were a letter from Christ, the result of the Apostle Paul’s ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

We pray, Living God, that You will lead our lost loved ones to the right ministers or lead these ministers to them, and plant them in a church where Your Spirit will write Your love letter on the tablets of their human hearts.

You have written the true script to make them new creatures in Christ. Remove from them the tablets of stone. May they be pricked in their heart in the fear of the Lord at the hearing of Your Word, repent, and start their life gloriously anew on a fresh page. Their testimony that they are changed by Your Spirit will be read by all.

COMPETENT MINISTERS OF THE SPIRIT

Father God, we are so thankful for SUCH confidence we have through Christ before You. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from

You who has made us competent as ministers of the new covenant--

not of the letter

but of the Spirit,

for the letter kills,

but the Spirit gives life.

LORD, forgive us when we have not trusted You and lost our confidence, depending on ourselves and failed. Holy Spirit take over and teach our lost loved ones and save them from the letter that kills. Breathe in them Your Spirit dear Jesus, have mercy on them and save them we pray.
The Greater Glory of the New Covenant

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

Thank You Lord for

the ministry of the Spirit

which is more glorious than the Old Testament ministry. No more is the New Testament ministry engraved on stone, as it was in the Old Testament. Though glorious as it was and transitory, it brought condemnation for we all sinned and came short of Your glory. But now the ministry of the New Testament has surpassing glory which lasts!

Our lost loved ones also have the opportunity to be made righteous in Jesus Christ the Lord.  May they not let the ministry of the Spirit pass them by; hold them LORD, minister to them and may they behold the loving face of the Savior Jesus and run to his outstretched arms.

WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS FREEDOM

Therefore, since we have such hope Father God, we are VERY bold. Not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away.

Oh God, sharpen the minds of our lost loved ones that they not be dull. Remove the veil that remains over their heart when the old covenant is read.

He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

-Luke 24:44

Dear Jesus only You can take the veil way from our lost loved ones. When this veil is taken away, they will turn to You Lord.

You Lord are the Spirit, and in You, there is freedom! Free our lost loved ones, save them from their sins Lord we pray.

Thank You Lord that

our faces are now unveiled

to contemplate Your glory,

and are being transformed into Your image

with ever increasing glory

which comes from You, Lord, who is the Spirit.

We pray the same for our lost loved ones. In Your name we pray, in Jesus name, Heavenly Father, amen.

WE ARE TO GOD THE PLEASING AROMA OF CHRIST, from 2 Corinthians 2

REJOICE VS GRIEF

Paul the Apostle wrote the 2nd epistle to the Corinthians and told them his mind was made up that he would not be making another painful visit to them because he was grieving them. When he came, he did not want to be distressed by those who should have made him rejoice. He had great distress and anguish of heart with many tears for them, not wanting to grieve them, but to let them know the depth of his love for them. He desired for them to make him glad and had confidence in all of them that they would all share his joy.

Father God, we don’t want our relationship with our lost loved ones to be painful. We have great distress and anguish of heart with many tears for the ones we love deeply because they are grieved by the hearing of Your Word. We rejoice when they hear Your Word and are being encouraged, enlightened, and comforted that You love them and want for Your goodness to lead them to repentance. How we desire for them to be glad at the hearing of Your good news and share our joy!

FORGIVENESS FOR THE OFFENDER

The Apostle Paul said he was not putting it to harshly when he wrote the one that was causing grief was not only grieving the Apostle Paul but them all to some extent.

He said the punishment inflicted on the offender by the majority was sufficient, and instead, they ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he would not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. He urged them to reaffirm their love for him.

Paul the Apostle said anyone they forgave, he also forgave.

And what he had forgiven--if there was anything not forgive--

he had forgiven in the sight of Christ for their sake,

in order that Satan might not outwit them because of awareness of his schemes.

LORD, our lost loved ones cause us all grief by their behavior, and this is not putting it too harshly. But they are already going through so much pain already, “kicking against the pricks” that they don’t need more badgering from us. Only Your Spirit can help them LORD. Our lost loved ones and we depend on Your work of mercy and grace to save them from destructive behavior. They need to be born again, LORD, and that is our prayer to You for them. We want to reaffirm our love for them. We love them, but we hate their sins. We forgive them in the sight of Christ for their sake, in order that Satan’s schemes will not prevail--rather the gates of hell will not prevail against us. Praise You and thank You LORD!

ANOTHER REASON FOR WRITING 2ND CORINTHIANS

Another reason Paul the Apostle wrote the Corinthians was

to see if they would stand the test
and be obedient in everything.

Father God, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that You give to us to stand the tests we go through with our lost loved ones. Regardless of how dismal the situation appears or how obstinate they are, we want for everything to be right between You and us. The Lord Jesus Christ is our righteousness and in Him we stand complete. We can confidently say we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We want to be ready for every assignment You give to us and pray the same for those whom You assign to witness to our lost loved ones.

IT’S ABOUT PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

Paul the Apostle went to Troas to PREACH THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST and found that THE LORD HAD OPENED A DOOR FOR HIM. He said he still had no peace of mind because he did not find his brother Titus there. So he said good-bye to them and went on to Macedonia.

Father God we pray that You open the door to us and send laborers to preach the Gospel of Christ to the lost and our lost loved ones. May we not neglect these opportunities. Thank You for Your Word, “Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.” Psalm 126:5

SPREADING THE AROMA OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST

The Apostle Paul thanked God who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession, and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Him everywhere.

Praise God, if You be for us, LORD, who can stand against! You put us in Christ triumphal procession, using us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Your Son everywhere. Use us and others to spread this aroma of knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ among our lost loved ones.

WE ARE TO GOD THE PLEASING AROMA OF CHRIST

For

we are to God

the pleasing aroma

of Christ

among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

To the one we are the aroma that brings death,

To the other, the aroma that brings life.

We are to You LORD the pleasing aroma of Christ, and we pray it will be the aroma that brings life to our lost loved ones. Hosanna!

THE WORD OF GOD SHOULD NOT BE PEDDLED

And who is equal to such a task? “Unlike many,” Paul the Apostle said, “we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

Father, lost people notice and accuse Your Word as being peddled by TV celebrities, church preachers, and such. LORD, if there is truth to this in anyone, bring it to their attention. Whichever the case, the devil is the accuser of the brethren and uses lost people especially to complain about it. On the other hand, we pray You save our lost loved ones from wolves in sheep’s clothing and those that are “peddling” Your message in dishonesty.

Save our lost loved ones despite of what others are doing, and put brethren with good testimonies in their path. May our lost loved ones behold Jesus Who wants them to hear Your message, and may they not put their eyes on man. It is Jesus who suffered, died and rose from the dead that many be saved, and not anyone else. Help our lost loved ones, and save them, LORD. We pray and thank You in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAISE BE TO THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT, 2 Corinthians 1

WE ARE WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST BY THE WILL OF GOD

Paul identified himself as an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy, as his brother.

LORD, we no longer have to worry about our self identify. Now as new creatures in Christ, You identify us in Him, and have put us in Your body with a calling according to Your will. LORD, we want to fulfill our calling with joy. We want to be Your instruments of peace to be employed by You to win the lost and our own lost loved ones. We pray for each member of Your church that each be in the post that You assigned. Those whom You have assigned to our lost loved ones, may they be obedient to You and be fully equipped with Your armor, and labor in love.

GREETINGS! GRACE AND PEACE TO US

In 2 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul addressed the church in Corinth together with all of God’s holy people throughout Achaia. He declared grace and peace to them from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. God is a Father to the household of faith in the church, and we are blessed with our Father’s and the Lord Jesus Christ grace and peace.

LORD, instead of greeting our brothers and sisters in the Lord with a “Hello” or “Hi,” we ought to bless each other by proclaiming your grace and peace upon us. We lift up our hands in praise to You heavenly Father! Fill us with Your grace and peace, we pray. We desire to have grace and favor before those we want to win for Christ. We want to be among the wise that win souls, including our lost loved ones.

PRAISE BE TO THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT

Praise be

to the

God and Father

of our

Lord Jesus Christ

the Father

of compassion

and the God

of all comfort

Who comforts us

in

all our troubles

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ,

So also our comfort abounds through Christ.

Praise, praise, praise to You merciful God, Who abundantly comforts us in all our troubles. We give You thanksgiving for Your compassions that are new every morning, and great is Your faithfulness. We pray Your mercy says no to leave in condemnation our lost loved ones that are yet without strength and living in sin. We receive comfort that You sent Your Son to save even the chief of sinners. Glory to God! We pray our lost loved ones will come to the light and make peace with You through Your Son. Comfort them with Your Word and may Your goodness bring them to repentance.

WHY GOD COMFORTS US

God comforts us in all our
troubles,

so that we can comfort

those in any trouble

with the comfort

we ourselves receive from God.

If we are distressed,

                                   it is for your comfort
and salvation.

Father, we want to face all our challenges with courage and faith. You are ever with us and will never leave us nor forsake us. You comfort us and use us to strengthen others with the same grace and comfort You impart to us. We are the body of the church and the Lord Jesus is the head. We are more than conquerors through Your Son that loved us and gave his life for us and nothing shall separate us from Your love that is in Him.

The Lord Jesus declared that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your church. We can go with faith and courage because of Your anointing given to us to preach deliverance to the captives, with Your Word of truth open the eyes of blind, to proclaim freedom to those that are in bondage to sin, and to release the oppressed. Father, bless us with faith that works by love.

PATIENT ENDURANCE IN SUFFERINGS

If we are comforted, it is for your comfort,

which produces in you

patient endurance

of the same sufferings we suffer.

And our hope for you is firm,

because we know that just as you share in our sufferings,

so also you share in our comfort.

Amen Father, our hope for us and our brothers and sisters is firm. You comfort us to comfort others. May we not waste any experience but learn from it. As we go through these trials we are encouraged that it is producing in us patient endurance. We desire to be fruitful as we go about Your business to win souls. Father, whomever you send to our lost loved ones, they are hand-picked by You, the all-knowing and all-wise God. May we all stay at the task with the patient endurance that works for us and benefits those that are believing in You through our witness and testimony.

DON’T BE UNINFORMED ABOUT THE TROUBLES WE EXPERIENCE

Brothers and sisters, God doesn’t want us to be uninformed about the troubles we experience. The Apostle Paul experienced troubles in the province of Asia. He said:

                           “We were under

great pressure,

far beyond our ability to endure,

so that we despaired of life itself.

Indeed, we felt

we had received the sentence of death.”

WHY WE SUFFER

But this happened

that we might

not rely on ourselves but on God,

Who raises the dead.

Father, there are those times when we feel we are at a loss and can’t take anymore. May You remind us by Your Comforter that this is only a feeling because with You who strengthens us we can do all things. May we never rely on ourselves, but learn to always depend on You who raises the dead!

LORD, you showed Your strength over Pharaoh when he would not let Your people go. He had all the world’s power, but no match for Your power! Your sovereignty cannot be denied.

Your Spirit is the best witness, and we call upon You to be the witness in our own lives. May the lost and our lost loved ones acknowledge Your deliverance for us and of our brothers and sisters in the Lord that were once blind and lost, but now are found, and safely in Your flock.

We want for our lost loved ones to bow their knee to Your name and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all to Your glory. We want our lost loved ones to surrender themselves to You because You first loved them.

HE HAS, HE WILL, HE WILL CONTINUE

He has

delivered us from such a
deadly peril,

And He will deliver us again.

On Him we have set our hope
that He will continue to deliver us.

Our heavenly Father, thank You for all the times You have delivered us and our lost loved ones from deadly peril. We have Your Word that You will deliver us again, and will continue to deliver us. We have set our hope on You. For You are God alone, and if You be for us, what can stand against.

As for our lost loved ones, we have Your Word, to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and we shall be saved and our house.

WE HELP THOSE THAT ARE SUFFERING BY OUR PRAYERS

We help those that are suffering by our prayers!

Then many will give thanks for the gracious favor granted us

in answer to the prayers of many.

Father, we are praying for others, and they are praying for us, especially for those that suffering for being a Christian and taking a stand for Your truth in wanting to win the lost. We are praying for the ones whom You send to our lost loved ones, and we pray our loved ones will be freed by hearing and believing Your truth, so that many thanks will rise up to You for granting our prayers and there be great rejoicing in heaven and earth!

WE DEPEND ON GOD’S GRACE

Our conscious testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world--

and especially in our relations with one another in the church--

with integrity

and godly sincerity,

not relying on world wisdom

but on God’s grace.
For we do not write of anything we cannot read or understand, hoping we can all come to understand God’s Word and be commended in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Grace, grace, marvelous grace is what we want to receive from You Father. We rely on Your grace for us to live in godliness and live with wisdom. We need Your grace when facing a difficult person or situation. The grace that saved us is the grace we need always. We desire this grace for our lost loved ones. Help them against all odds, heavenly Father. Be merciful to them and save them from their sins. LORD, You said that today is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation. Save them today we pray.

OBEYING GOD’S WILL

Paul the Apostle was confident to visit the Corinthians so that they might benefit twice. He wanted to visit them on his way to Macedonia and to come back to them on his way back, and then to have them send him on his way to Judea. He asked if he was fickle when he intended to do this, or to make his plans in a world manner, so that in the same breath he could say “Yes, yes” and “No, no.”

LORD, we should not be presumptuous and get ahead of you, or fall behind when You prompt us to act. We should not do anything that is not in Your plan for us. Help us to know when to be still and allow You to fight our battles, and when You want us to take action. We don’t want to go anywhere without You leading us, or do anything of ourselves. We embrace Your Word, that in You we live, and move, and have our being. May those You send to our lost loved ones be obedient and heed Your instructions. Deliver our lost loved ones from those that are a stumbling block to them and don’t seek Your glory.

WE SAY AMEN TO GOD

As surely as God is faithful, the Apostle Paul’s message to the church as inspired by the Holy Ghost is not “Yes” and “No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among the Corinthians by Paul, Silas and Timothy was not “Yes” and “No.”

GOD’S PROMISES ARE “AMEN” IN CHRIST

In Him

it has always been “Yes.”

For no matter how many promises God has

made, they are “Yes” in Christ.

So through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us

to the glory of God.
Amen and amen! Father, Jesus Christ the Lord is our righteousness and in Him, and through Him are all Your blessings for Your church. He is the Amen. Praise God! LORD, You said these blessings are for us and for our children. We believe it will be done for our lost loved ones according to Your Word; thank You, merciful LORD!

IT IS GOD

Now it is God

who makes both us and you

stand firm in Christ.

He has anointed us,

set His seal of ownership on us,

and put His Spirit in our hearts

as a deposit,

guaranteeing what is to come.

Father, we don’t have to worry if we are going to fall, because we do not rely on our flesh or the arm of flesh. It is You who makes us stand firm. You have anointed us, You set Your seal that we belong to You, and You’ve put Your Spirit in our hearts as a deposit. Your coming for us is guaranteed. LORD, we trust in Your salvation for our lost loved ones that they will not be left behind. No doubt, we shall come rejoicing bearing our sheaves with us!

GOD IS OUR WITNESS

We can call God as our witness and even stake our life on it, as did the Apostle Paul. And he said, “that it was in order to spare the Corinthians that he did not return to Corinth.”

Compassionate God, You are not willing that any should perish but come to repentance and receive Jesus as their Lord and personal and sufficient Savior. You did not call Your church to condemn, but to be Your ambassadors and take to the lost the Gospel of peace between You and man through Your Son. We trust in Your anointing to do this work, we wholly depend on Your Spirit to be the faithful and true Witness.

WORKING TOGETHER WITH JOY

We should not lord it over others’ faith, but work with others with joy, because it is by faith that we stand firm.

LORD, help those that have been offended through people in the church. We don’t want for our lost loved ones to be spectators and contentious. We pray our church members be patient and work in Your love with those that oppose themselves. Have Your way LORD, to convince the world of sin, righteousness and of judgment.

Those whom You have added to the church, we pray they have a teachable spirit. We thank You for Your Spirit, and trust the Teacher. We are praying that we labor in Your love with joy. It is by faith in Your truth that we stand firm, and it is by grace through faith that our lost loved ones will be saved. Hosanna! In Jesus name, amen.

My loved ones lie at the point of death, BUT

And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
- Mark 5:23

LORD, I implore you earnestly! My loved ones lie at the point of death, but come and lay Your divine hands on them, and breathe in them new life in You, and they shall not die but live to tell of Your glory! In Jesus name I pray.

GO WHEN THE LORD OF THE HARVEST SAYS, "GO." From 1 Corinthians 16

GIFT COLLECTIONS ON THE FIRST DAY OF EVERY WEEK

Paul the apostle told the Corinthians what he told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each should set aside a sum of money in keeping with each income, saving it up, so that when he arrived no collections had to be made. At his arrival, he would give letters of recommendation for the messengers that were chosen to deliver their gift to Jerusalem. If it seemed advisable for the Apostle Paul to go also, they would accompany him.

LORD, the Apostle Paul at one time said to follow him as he followed Christ. We see him always ministering to others, and getting people to also cooperate in material ways to send to others. LORD, as we are given opportunity and as You have blessed us, may we have also give with this same love and spirit. Give us this grace also, LORD, so that others and our lost loved ones can be blessed by the ministers You send out, well equipped, to preach Your gospel.

THE APOSTLE PAUL TRAVELS

AND THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY

When the Apostle Paul went through Macedonia, he would then go to the Corinthians. He wanted to stay with them for a while, or even spend the winter. He did not want to see them right away for only a passing visit. He said he hoped to spend some time with them, if the Lord permitted. He wanted their help on his journey, wherever he went. He would stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, because a great door for effective work had been opened to him, and there were many who opposed him.

LORD, here is an example of submission to your will and not being presumptuous. Though what we are doing looks legit before You, we should always be humble before You and ask Your permission. LORD, help us not to miss opportunities for effective work that has been opened to us, be it for us or other ministers that You’ve called. This could also benefit the lives and souls of our lost loved ones.

TIMOTHY

When Timothy came, Paul the apostle told the Corinthians to see to it that Timothy had nothing to fear while he was with them, for he was carrying on the work of the Lord, as he was. He said no one should treat Timothy with contempt but to send him on his way in peace so that he returned to Paul that was expecting him along with the brothers.

LORD of the Harvest, we thank You for the Timothys that carry Your work along side with the Pauls. The lost need such brethren, and we pray You send them to our lost loved ones. May we be careful to show our appreciation to them in the way You expect us to.

APOLLOS

The Apostle Paul strongly urged Apollos to go to the Corinthians with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go at that time, but he would go when he had the opportunity.

LORD, if this was justified or not, we just want to make sure ourselves that we don’t justify ourselves when You say “Go.” May we not miss these opportunities You give to us to be fruitful. We also pray for those that You send to our lost loved ones that they obey and go to them with Your gospel of salvation.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CHURCH

By God’s Spirit, Paul tells the church to

be on guard,
stand firm in the faith,
be courageous,
be strong,
to do everything in love.
Heavenly Father, we pray for ourselves and the church, not to let our spiritual armor down, to stand firm in the faith, to be courageous, strong, and to do everything in Your love. We want to be an instrument of Your peace to win the souls of the lost and our own lost loved ones. Help us Holy Spirit, for we want to be filled with You. We know it’s not by might, nor by power, but by You that gives us all the victory and delivers those that are in bondage to sin with Your unction.

FIRST CONVERTS IN ACHAIA

The household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia and had devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. Paul the Apostle urged the church to submit to such people and everyone who joins in the work and labors at it. The Apostle Paul was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus arrived because these brethren had supplied what the Corinthians were lacking and refreshed the Apostle Paul’s and the Corinthians’ spirit also. He said such men deserve recognition.

Father God, what joy You have in the presence of Your holy angels when sinners get saved, and then they devote themselves to Your service. May we support and join in as co-laborers with them. You use converts to make more converts. Send such brethren that are “on fire for the Lord Jesus” to our lost loved ones, LORD. We pray our lost loved ones too will be converts that devote themselves to Your service as Your people, being blessed and being a blessing.

GREETINGS FROM THE CHURCHES

The churches in the province of Asia sent the Corinthians greetings. Aquila and Pricilla greeted them warmly in the Lord as did the church that met at their house. All the brothers and sisters where the Apostle Paul was sent the Corinthians greetings and he told the Corinthians to greet one another with a holy kiss. He made notice that he himself wrote this greeting in his own hand. He said, “If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed!” He ended this epistle by saying, “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen”

Father we pray for our brothers and sisters in the Lord, and ourselves to be godly affectionate, showing Your love in us to one another. We very much want for the lost to see Your love when they come to church. We don’t want anyone to be cursed. Help the lost Lord, help our lost loved ones to get saved and get right with You through Your Son. May Yur grace be with us all in Christ Jesus. AMEN
